Pick Your Own Farms

Rowan County is rooted in the land, and food and agriculture are integral parts of our culture. Not only do we offer more than 110 original restaurants, but we have 11 pick-your-own farms, roadside stands and 4 farmer’s markets with fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables along with jams, jellies, meat and other locally made products. You haven’t truly experienced Rowan County until you have picked and eaten a basket of our own fresh strawberries from Patterson Farm, picked your own wild flowers at Gold Hill Flower Co., or had fresh vegetables from the Salisbury/Rowan County Farmers’ Market. Learn more about what makes Rowan County an original destination for pick-your-own farms and farmers markets by exploring the listings below, and begin planning your next visit to Rowan County.
