RCCVB Tourism Support
Tourism Marketing Grants
In the recent years the RCCVB Destination Marketing Committee made the decision to grant financial support for tourism partners/events based on hospitality and overnight stay needs. This approach led to a much higher tourism ROI, which in return supports the CVB’s primary goal of doubling the economic impact of tourism in Rowan County from $124 million to $250 million, by 2023, as outlined in the Rowan County Tourism Master Plan: Completion & Connection. Eligibility and requirements for the Tourism Support Grant is listed below. Completed grant applications are due by the 20th of the month prior to the Thursday meeting. The Destination Marketing Committee meets the first Thursday every month, except July and December. Applications submitted for support with event tourism hospitality, overnight lodging and/or an incentive packages are highly encouraged and will be given award priority on a first-come, first-serve bases. Completed applications can be sent to tara@visitsalisburync.com.
