RCCVB Tourism Support

Tourism Marketing Grants

In the recent years the RCCVB Destination Marketing Committee made the decision to grant financial support for tourism partners/events based on hospitality and overnight stay needs. This approach led to a much higher tourism ROI, which in return supports the CVB’s primary goal of doubling the economic impact of tourism in Rowan County from $124 million to $250 million, by 2023, as outlined in the Rowan County Tourism Master Plan: Completion & Connection. Eligibility and requirements for the Tourism Support Grant is listed below. Completed grant applications are due by the 20th of the month prior to the Thursday meeting.
