One of Rowan County’s most beloved weekend traditions, the Salisbury Rowan County Farmers' Market transforms the Railwalk Pavilion into a vibrant marketplace every Saturday morning. Shoppers can enjoy a wide selection of in-season fresh fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised or non-GMO fed pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, and eggs. You’ll also find fresh-cut flowers and plants, delicious baked goods, homemade soaps, local honey, fresh breads, jams and jellies, honey mead, and handcrafted treasures from local artisans.

Monthly Features:

  • 1st Saturday: Power of Produce Kids Club (POP club), 2 Bite Challenge - Taste a seasonal fruit or veggie, take home kid-friendly recipes, enjoy a fun activity, and sometimes catch a cooking demo!

  • 2nd Saturday: POP Club Community Sponsor Activity - Hosted by one of our fantastic local partners.

  • 3rd Saturday: POP Club 2 Bite Challenge + Fun & Fitness -Hosted by Patience Alley from Heart of Salisbury Yoga Studio.

  • 4th Saturday: Story Time - Hosted by Agent Amber Himes with NC Farm Bureau.

  • 5th Saturday: Young Entrepreneurs Day (SFM YED) August 30 & November 29! This is a special day when creative and driven youth (18 and under) showcase their handmade crafts, art, food items, and more - all made following our market’s guidelines.
