Rowan County Fair

A Tradition Rooted in Community

The Rowan County Fair was created to give local farmers, youth, and agricultural programs a place to exhibit livestock, crops, and projects. Over the decades, volunteers, civic groups, and local fire departments have played a major role in building and supporting the fairgrounds, with many organizations continuing to participate through food booths and community fundraising.

Today, the event is organized by local Jaycees, with proceeds helping fund scholarships, community programs, and local initiatives throughout Rowan County.
