Each winter, Wine About Winter brings warmth and energy to Downtown Salisbury with a festive evening of sipping, strolling, and exploring. This long-standing tradition transforms the historic district into a lively wine crawl through participating boutiques, restaurants, and specialty shops, offering a cozy way to enjoy the season during the colder months.

Sip & Stroll Through Downtown

Ticket holders receive a tasting pass for multiple wine samples, along with a souvenir tasting glass and event memorabilia. Participants can travel from location to location at their own pace, sampling a variety of wines from local vineyards and beyond while discovering downtown’s unique shops and gathering spots.

A complimentary trolley shuttle makes it easy to move between locations and enjoy the full experience without the extra walking.

Wine About Winter typically takes place in late winter in Downtown Salisbury, with check-in at the Rowan County Visitor Center. Guests must be 21 or older and present a valid photo ID to participate.

Because the event is popular and often sells out, early ticket purchase and arrival are recommended.
