Patterson Farm Market and Tours has been offering hands-on, fun, and educational farming experiences to Rowan County since 1992. The Patterson Family welcomes you to pick, play, and enjoy throughout the entire year with their many educational and seasonal events. Spring

Springtime at Patterson Farm is the perfect time to witness the fields come alive with bright red berries and fresh produce. Families can enjoy educational tours to learn about agriculture while soaking up the pleasant weather. One of the most popular springtime activities on the farm is the pick-your-own strawberries offering. The season also brings lively events to the farm, including an egg-cellent Adventure Egg Hunt. 

 

Summer

Summer on the Farm means fun on the playground, summer camps, and a wide variety of educational tours. These educational tours focus on bees, geocaching, treasure mining, and more! The Summer Fun Camp offers little ones an enriching summer on the farm full of crafts, activities, and games based around farm life and our food sources. 

 

Sunflower Festival 2024

This year is the first year Patterson Farm is hosting their Sunflower Festival! Visit the farm Thursdays through Sundays August 23 - September 1 for a one-of-a-kind sunflower experience featuring a large field of sunflowers, multiple photo ops, pick-your-own blooms and much more farm fun!

 

Fall

Get into the Autumn spirit with Fall events on the farm. From pumpkin patches to hayrides, there's something for everyone. Families can relish the beauty of the changing leaves while engaging in educational activities that highlight the essence of fall on the farm. Make sure to visit the Snack Silo for a bite to eat, seasonal produce, gifts, and more from the market. 

 

Winter

Winter at Patterson Farms is a cozy and festive time, inviting families to embrace the charm of the season. The fields may be dormant, but the farm transforms into a winter wonderland, offering a unique set of activities for all to enjoy. Families can participate in holiday-themed events, such as tree lighting ceremonies and visits with Santa, creating magical moments that linger in the heart.
