Each year when the air begins to cool and crisp leaves begin to collect on the ground, Patterson Farm opens its fields to families to make original fall memories at Patterson Farm's Fall Fun on the Farm event. This year, Patterson Farm has a variety of autumnal activities to help you to embrace the season. Visit Mount Ulla, N.C. this autumn to experience all the fall fun that awaits you on the farm.
Busker's Bash in Downtown Salisbury
The 9th Annual Buskers’ Bash will take place this year on Friday, October 7. Visitors will have the opportunity to eat and shop in Downtown Salisbury from 5 - 9 P.M. while buskers’ showcase their talent from 5:30 - 8 P.M..
OctoberTour of Historic Homes
October 7 - 9
The 47th Annual OctoberTour - the weekend will kick off with the 200th Celebration of the Hall House on Friday evening, including a play about the Hall family, written by Jenny Hubbard. Tours start at 10: A.M. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. Bank Street is back, and Patrons' Party will be on Saturday night!
Bell Tower BrewFest
Join us in Downtown Salisbury for the first Bell Tower BREWFEST, in partnership with OctoberTour, to celebrate the art of craft beer, history and showcase our buzzing downtown on Saturday, October 8 from noon to 5 P.M..
Fall Festival at Lazy 5 Ranch

See the homes of OctoberTour by bike! You'll enjoy a Sunday cruise past the featured homes (outside only) and stop briefly at each, making this a casual, all levels ride.
Kannapolis Fire Truck Parade
The Kannapolis Fire Department will host the Kannapolis Fire Truck Parade at approximately 5:45 P.M., on Friday, October 14 as a rescheduled rain date. During the event, there will be a Fire Truck Parade and Kid’s Firefighter Costume Contest.
Granite Quarry’s annual Granite Fest will be held Saturday, October 15, 2 P.M. - 10 P.M. with the vendor court open 1 P.M. - 6 P.M.. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy music, inflatables, games, crafts and more all day. Food and beverage trucks as well as craft and merchandise vendors will be on site with purchasing options.

Some Fun is Brewing! Bring your little monsters and ghouls for the N.C. Transportation Museum's Halloween event! The Halloween Trains will be offered Saturday, Oct. 22, and again on, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30. The event runs from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Saturdays, and 12 – 5 P.M. on Sunday. The train ride will be decorated for Halloween, with music to match!

Hippie Fest is a grassroots festival where free-spirited people from across the country gather to celebrate peace, love, and all things groovy! Featuring live music, bohemian shopping, vintage hippie car show, DIY tie-dye, giant bubble garden, sideshow performers, kids activities, delicious food, and more. All ages welcome. Kids 10 and under free. It's groovy baby!
