Busker's Bash in Downtown Salisbury

The 9th Annual Buskers’ Bash will take place this year on Friday, October 7. Visitors will have the opportunity to eat and shop in Downtown Salisbury from 5 - 9 P.M. while buskers’ showcase their talent from 5:30 - 8 P.M..
Lee St. Theatre Presents: "Dracula"

As Count Dracula begins to exert his will upon the residents of London, they try to piece together the clues of his appearances—in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a hideous fate.
Soaring Melodies

Two of the most melodic pieces from the 20th Century - Florence Price’s First Violin Concerto played by Young Concert Artist Lun Li and the monumental Second Symphony of the Russian pianist Serge Rachmaninov - will be performed by the Salisbury Symphony at Catawba College on October 15.

2022 N.C. Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame & Museum presents the 2022 Induction Ceremony being held on October 20 at 7 P.M. at the Historic Gem Theatre in Kannapolis, N.C.. Here we welcome the community to watch the live induction of 5 nationally acclaimed North Carolina Artists: Stephanie Mills, Nnenna Freelon, Janet Paschal, Bernard Edwards (of CHIC, family & friends will take his place of attendance), and Charlie Poole (family & friends will take his place of attendance). With performances from Chairmen of the Board, the New NC Ramblers, Nnenna Freelon, Janet Paschal, and a tribute to Bernard Edwards from prominent funk figures, Kannapolis is in for a treat.

The killer musical with outrageous gusto. A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder traces the brilliant trajectory of Monty Navarro—charmer, seducer and avenger—on his quest for recognition and family fortune. Monty Navarro is in line for an earldom in the lofty D'Ysquith family. Eighth in line, that is. With a few tricks up his sleeve, he plots to speed up the line of succession all the while juggling the affections of two beautiful women, dodging suspicions and relying on fortunate twists of fate.
A 'Bury Home Companion

Join Kent Bernhardt, Kay Peeler, and the whole ‘Bury Home Companion crew for the annual performance of this wonderful show. A’ Bury Home Companion is part Mayberry, part Prairie Home Companion, yet somehow all Salisbury. Featuring memorable faces such as The Moonglows moonlighting as the ‘Bury Home Singers, the Silver String Band from Gold Hill, and all the regulars from our popular skits like Tales from the Choir Loft and Guy Noir. Brought to you in part by Powdermilk Biscuits, in the bright blue box with a picture of a biscuit right on the cover.
