Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour
Rowan County has more than 40 working farms across nearly 119,000 acres of farmland. Spring is a beautiful time of year on our Rowan County farms, and the Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour offers a rare chance to see it firsthand. The tour combines the county’s rich farm heritage and vibrant arts culture in a self-guided tour. Visitors will learn about local farms and find working artists exhibiting their talent along the way.
Explore hand-crafted jewelry, decorative glass, photography, fiber, leather, mixed media, metal works, sculpture, wood, clay, watercolor, drawings, decorative arts and more with our local artists. Experience up to 10 notable Rowan County farms and Ag Education locations with artists at each site.
The tour is always free and open to the public, as well as provides and educational and entertaining experience for the whole family. The Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour is the first of it’s kind in North Carolina, and we’re lucky to have it each year in Rowan County.
