Lee St. Theatre Presents: "Disney's Beauty & the Beast Jr."

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Piedmont Players Presents: "The Spongebob Musical"

The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as Spongebob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Spongebob, Patrick, and Sandy attempt to stop an erupting volcano from destroying Bikini Bottom. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage.

Visiting Artist Residency at Waterworks

This summer Waterworks welcomes North Carolina painter Maria Bennett Hock who will engage students to deepen their skills in figurative drawing and painting with oil. Join her in the studio for a fun-filled week of intense drawing and painting. Students will sharpen their drawing skills by capturing a likeness quickly and accurately.

A play that speaks to these explosive times and charts the journey of women, from the disembodiment that comes from violence to the embodiment that comes from self-love. Woven together with dark humor and heightened theatricality, FRUIT TRILOGY explores the humanity behind the headlines.
