Lester J. Brown Antique Truck Show

Come see antique pickups, fire trucks, flatbeds, military trucks, tow trucks, road tractors, and more. Join the N.C. Transportation Museum on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9 A.M. – 3 P.M. This event is hosted by the Piedmont Carolina Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society. Museum admission is required.

All events are free to the public. This month you can look forward to concerts featuring The Spinners, The Charlotte Symphony, The Embers, a presentation of the movie, Wonka, and a Story Under the Stars night featuring Dare Devil Dogs.

 

Fun in Faith - Movie Night

This annual event is a celebration of the cowboy/Western way of life! The event will include bull riding, wild horse riding, calf roping, breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing, with family entertainment including a bounce house, mechanical bull, pony rides, and more.

 

Juneteenth Celebration

Join us Saturday, June 15 for the annual Juneteenth Celebration from Noon to 7 p.m. at Bell Tower Green in Downtown Salisbury. Fire Truck Festival at the N.C. Transportation Museum

Join the N.C. Transportation Museum for the hottest event of the year! You’ll get to meet firefighters from across the state, get a close-up look at the equipment they use, vote for your favorite fire truck, and have a fun family day at the museum. During your visit, enjoy activities and train rides throughout the day. At the end of the festival, watch the parade which begins at 3:15 p.m.

Ice Cream Train at the N.C. Transportation Museum

Transportation Museum for their Ice Cream Train on June 26, July 17 and 31 at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Pick up your ice cream at the Barber Junction Visitor Center before hopping on board and enjoying your sweet treat as you take a ride around the museum's 60-acre site.

Enjoy a night of family fun at the N.C. Transportation Museum for Fireworks Over Historic Spencer Shops on Saturday, June 29! Museum buildings and exhibits close at 5 p.m. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. and wrap up with the fireworks show beginning at 9:15 p.m.
