Nothing completes a trip to Rowan County better than a local dining experience. We've set out to highlight a few of the many local restaurants that make our destination an original place to visit and eat. We’ve created a series of some of our many favorite original restaurants in Rowan County. Up next, Water's Edge Dock & Grill.

Water's Edge Dock and Grill is High Rock Lake's newest restaurant, bar, music venue, event space, and after-lake hangout. Their restaurant has water access, which makes it easily accessible for boaters, as well as amazing views of High Rock Lake. High Rock Lake is the second largest lake in North Carolina. Water's Edge is the closest waterfront restaurant to I-85 and just minutes from Downtown Salisbury.

Their menu is filled with unique options, like coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, goat-cheese pizza, towering Edge burgers, and grilled ribeye. Water's Edge takes pride in their food. They offer entrees, appetizers, thin crust pizza, sandwiches, craft burgers, wings, late night bar food and weekend brunch. Water's Edge is the perfect Rowan County destination for lunch, dinner, late night and weekend brunch.

Speaking of brunch, every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 1pm Water's Edge offers Rowan County's only self-serve Bloody Mary Bar. They also have mimosas and a full bar. Pair your favorite brunch cocktail with their special brunch-only menu items like eggs benedict, a hash brown skillet or the Monte Cristo.

You can find Water's Edge at 257 Boat Club Lane in Salisbury. Their hours are Wednesday - Friday 5 p.m. - 12 a.m. and Saturday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 12 a.m. You can also find them on Facebook.
