Stay & Play Package: HOTEL

**This process is for hotel stays for THE POLAR EXPRESS ™ Train Ride. Please note the process is different for AirBnb, VRBO and camping cabins. If you wish to book a page with an AirBnb or camping cabin reservation, please click here.**

HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR WEBSITE TO QUALIFY FOR THE PACKAGE. DO NOT MAKE YOUR RESERVATION THROUGH A HOTEL PROPERTY'S WEBSITE.

MEMBER PRESALE: There will NOT be an option to select the special offer for members on 6/4 or 6/5 when booking your hotel. Please book your hotel using the booking widget below, then call the ticketing center at  704-709-3410. Once they verify your membership, they will add the special offer to your reservation. Lifetime, Family Platinum, and Family Premium members will be able to book tickets beginning June 4 at 9 a.m.   All other members will be able to book tickets beginning June 5 at 9 a.m.  For those who are not members as of the May 31, 2024 deadline, tickets will be available beginning June 6 at 9 a.m.  The ticketing center is open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT.

1. Book your stay directly through Visit Rowan County, NC's website by visiting our lodging page. Use the date picker at the top of the lodging page or the date picker below to see available properties, select your desired hotel and complete the room booking process. During the process you will have the opportunity to select THE POLAR EXPRESS ™ Train Ride incentive offer on the date picker, or by clicking the pop up after selecting a hotel. As you proceed to check out, please select if you’d like to receive free tickets of a VISA e-gift card for your stay. 

Please note: to book multiple rooms, you will have to complete multiple transactions. At this time our system does not allow to book multiple rooms and redeem the special offer. You WILL be able to select the special offer for all rooms booked.

2. Once you have booked your hotel, if you have selected free tickets you will receive 2 emails. The first will confirm your hotel booking. For tickets, you will receive a second email within 24 hours of your booking with a one-time use code to redeem the free tickets earned. If you selected to receive a VISA e-gift card in lieu of tickets, your gift certificate will be emailed to upon check in at your hotel.

3. Once you have received the one-time use code, you may visit the N.C. Transportation Museum’s website, select your tickets and use the code at check out OR contact the ticketing center at 704-469-5231 to assist with booking your tickets. Please have your code ready. 

4. Your tickets will be emailed to you upon booking. *Should your lodging stay be cancelled or altered, your tickets will be automatically voided and will no longer gain entry to the event.*

OVERNIGHT STAY PACKAGE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
To be eligible for this package, you MUST book your hotel through Visit Rowan County, NC’s website (VisitRowanCountyNC.com) and book your tickets by using the code emailed to you within 24 hours of booking either online or with the etix call center. Confirmation number and contact information are required to verify reservations. If the lodging stay is cancelled, the special offer is void and your tickets or gift card will no longer be valid. No exchanges or refunds. Lodging reservations must be in a Rowan County, N.C. hotel, B&B, Airbnb or camping cabin (camp site rentals not included). Not valid with any coupons, discounts, or reward point redemptions associated with the participating lodging properties or the N.C. Transportation Museum. Rooms must be booked directly with Visit Rowan County NC’s website. Deadline dates for package reservations apply.

Package will be cancelled if terms and conditions are not followed. Once you have booked your stay, you will receive a one-time use code within 24 hours of booking. If you have selected to receive a gift certificate, your gift certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours of booking.
