The 2025 Run Kannapolis 5K Series is back with eight races—including the new Flint’s Fabulous 5K—offering fun, fitness, and community support for runners and walkers of all ages. This month's runs will be hosted by Kannapolis Parks & Recreation and Gaelic Alley Pub!
Girl Scouts Railroading Day at the N.C. Transportation Museum

Girl Scouts are invited to the North Carolina Transportation Museum for a special railroading experience that includes hands-on classes, a train ride, lunch, and more. Participants will explore STEM railroading careers, earn their STEM Career Exploration Badge, and receive a fun patch during this exciting day of learning and adventure.
Hall House Tours

Step back in time with a docent-led tour of the 1820 Hall House, open Saturdays from 1–4 PM through December at 226 S. Jackson Street in Salisbury. No reservations are needed, and admission is just $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for children under 12 and Historic Salisbury Foundation members.
