Rowan County Tourism Development Authority Tourism Development funds are designed to assist individuals, communities or organizations initiating, developing, planning, constructing, or expanding tourism-related assets in Rowan County. Tourism Development grants are for projects that seek to increase visitation to the destination or to support the growth of new tourism-related projects. Tourism Development Grants are awarded to projects seeking to create new tourism related assets for the community. Funds will not be awarded to fund maintenance, repairs, refurbishment or related upkeep. The grant program is not intended to fund the development of assets in their entirety, but rather to support private and public efforts related to tourism development. Qualifying applications submitted will be awarded on a first come, first served basis based on available funding. Completed applications can be sent to sarah@visitrowancountync.com.
