One hidden gem you may not already be aware of is the N.C. Music Hall of Fame museum located in Kannapolis, N.C., and if you haven't already heard of it, we're about to fill you in on what you're missing out on. Not only is the museum exciting and educational, but it's also a perfect way to escape the heat this summer when visiting Rowan County.

During your visit to the museum, you will be taken on a journey through the past to the present with exhibits highlighting major artists that once resided, or still reside in North Carolina. Their interactive exhibits play a perfect storytelling role to keep you inspired and engaged in learning about artists who've proudly called our state home. From memorabilia to in-depth history, here are a few exhibits you can look forward to during your visit:

There are currently over 80 inductees at the North Carolina Museum Hall of Fame who are from and/or have lived in all parts of North Carolina, from Franklin all the way to Wilmington. Museum Hours & Information
Hours & Tours: The N.C. Music Hall of Fame is open Monday - Friday, 10 A.M. to noon and 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. The museum is also available for tours after hours and on weekends for private tours and school group tours by appointment only.
