Douglas Vineyards: Fall in a wine glass! What could be better? Douglas Vineyards Fall Harvest Wine is ready for you to enjoy. Hints of apple and cranberry will transport you directly into the fall season. Get to the tasting room to get your bottle (or 3) today! Plus, join them for their last live music night of the season on September 11 from 6-9 p.m. with the Radio Flyer bluegrass band and Rollishous Ribs food truck.

Salisbury/Rowan County Farmers’ Market: Every Saturday at the Railwalk Pavillion in Downtown Salisbury the market will boast fresh produce, meats, flowers, crafts and so much more.

China Grove Market at the Mill: Every Friday at the China Grove Roller Mill from 4-6 p.m. the Market at the Mill will have fresh produce and other interesting items.

Kannapolis Farmers Market: Every Thursday from INSERT START TIME-7 p.m. at the corner of Vance Ave and Dale Earnhardt Blvd the Kannapolis Farmers Market has fresh produce, honey, spices, crafts, prepared food and more.

Town of Landis Farmers Market: Every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. the Town of Landis gathers on W. Rice Street near the Landis Pool with fresh local produce.


Live Music: Rowan County is always proud of its arts community, but we’re proud to see them continue strong and bring us joy during the pandemic. Many of our local restaurants offer live music throughout the week. Be sure to check in with your favorite spots to see what performances they have. Sidewalk Jammin’ at Mean Mug Coffee: Every Monday night 5-7 p.m. join Mean Mug on the sidewalk for an informal opportunity for musicians to play with one another. All skill levels and spectators welcome.

A ‘Bury Home Companion – Virtual Concert: The annual Salisbury Symphony fundraiser has gone virtual. This virtual event will allow families to enjoy the performance from the comfort of their living room. This year’s program will feature The Hall Sisters, Fortress, The Moonglows, The Bury Home Singers and The Bury Home Silver String Band.
