Summer Pick-Your-Own at Patterson Farm

Spend a summer day harvesting fresh berries straight from the vine at Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. in Mount Ulla, N.C. Guests can pick their own blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries while enjoying the beauty of the farm. The Pick-Your-Own fields are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather and crop conditions permitting. Admission to the field is just $2 per person (ages 2 and up), making this a fun and affordable family outing. Celebrate Independence Day in spectacular fashion at Atrium Health Ballpark during the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers' July 4th Extravaganza. The evening features a summer collegiate baseball matchup between the Queen City Corndogs and Winston-Salem Disco Turkeys, a live country music concert by Carolina Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Garrett Huffman, and the largest fireworks display in the region commemorating America's 250th anniversary. With family-friendly entertainment, great food, and an unforgettable patriotic atmosphere, this is one of Rowan County's premier Fourth of July celebrations.
