The Rowan Arts Council has selected the recipients of their 2022 Fall Arts & Cultural Development Grants. Their total grant allocation was $7,500 split between four arts organizations.
Arts & Cultural Development (ACD) Grants are available for arts and cultural organizations and individual artists seeking to expand access to arts and cultural opportunities in Rowan County. By providing direct support to arts and cultural partners in Rowan County, the ACD grants are designed to support the vision and the mission of the Rowan Arts Council.
Grants were awarded to the following:
Krystal Stukes – Salisbury Community Nutcracker Ballet
Latisha Feamster – Let’s Put the A in Arts
Right Brain 2 Inc. - Art Literacy Program
The Bread Riot – Riot at New Sarum 2023
The vision of the Rowan Arts Council is the bring appreciation, enjoyment and awareness of the arts to the community, while establishing Salisbury and Rowan County as a regional resource for arts, education and culture.
The mission of the Rowan Arts Council is to serve the community by fostering the creative arts, advancing arts education, and developing the Salisbury and Rowan Cultural community to its greatest potential.
