Did someone say snow? There’s a 100% chance of snow in China Grove! It's a Rowan County tradition to sled down the hill in China Grove during their annual celebration. You bring the sled, they'll provide the snow!
China Grove’s annual Christmas in the Grove celebration is the perfect family friendly activity for your weekend! Bring your plastic sled and go sledding, ride on horse drawn wagons, sing Christmas carols, and more! There will also be a live nativity with animals and face painting. Hot chocolate, s’more, hotdogs, drinks and other holiday treats will be available. Plus, downtown shops will also be open late so you can do some holiday shopping!
The event is free, but please bring canned goods or an unwrapped toy to benefit Main Street Mission or Toys for Tots. Christmas in the Grove will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. at 205 Swink Street in China Grove. Metal sleds are not allowed. Plastic sleds will be available for purchase.
