Gold Hill Flower Company:

Gold Hill Flower Company is a small but mighty cut flower farm located in the historic village of Gold Hill, NC. Their husband, wife and daughter trio grow flowers on site for a self-serve flower stand, U-Pick and special events. Their flower field, barn and murals provide the perfect back drop for delicate, romantic and nature centric photography. They provide services throughout the week, but Friday through Sunday is a great time to go out, pick some flowers and snap some photos! 

 

 

Bell Tower Green Park:

Bell Tower Green Park has quickly become an icon in the Salisbury, NC community. Located on the corner of West Innes and South Jackson Streets in historic Downtown Salisbury, Bell Tower Green is 1 full city block. The park is true to its homegrown character and charisma, serving to strengthen community engagement and encourage growth. The park has several garden spaces, a water feature, brick sidewalks, twinkle lights and more. Bell Tower Green provides the perfect backdrop for a vibrant, green space centric photography session.

 

 

Historic Gold Hill:

Visiting Historic Gold Hill will give you a nostalgic change of pace, and a welcomed step back in time as you stroll along the wood sidewalks of this restored nineteenth century gold mining boom town. With its first gold discovery in 1824, Gold Hill is considered one of today’s most charming, historic small towns in North Carolina. Home to a quaint shopping village and a 70-acre park with beautiful scenery. The park boasts endless greenery and landscapes, while the shopping village provides white picket fences, romantic sidewalks and so much more. Historic Gold Hill gives a great atmosphere for quaint and slow paced photography.

 

 

Historic Salisbury Depot:

The Historic Salisbury Depot in 1984 the Historic Salisbury Foundation purchased the Salisbury Railway Passenger Station and took on the challenge of resurrecting this unique landmark. They spent more than 3.1 million dollars to meticulously restore the station in three phases. The station is now home to offices and an events venue, in addition to being an operating Amtrak station. The building gives an elegant and historic ambiance for photography.

 

 

Hurley Park:

Hurley Park has long been a photo destination in Rowan County. The park boasts 14-acres of woodlands, streams, gardens, and quiet pathways. It includes collections of hollies and magnolias, a wildflower garden, an azalea garden, and many other plantings which provide year-round interest and beauty. Finely crafted benches and tables, specially designed bridges and distinctive gazebos enhance the gardens. Hurley Park is the perfect destination for romantic and floral photography sessions.
