The word is out: Rowan Arts & Ag is back! We’re celebrating our agricultural roots and thriving artistic community.Did you know that… The Arts are a $2.12 billion industry in North Carolina? What about… The Arts create approximately 72,000 full time jobs in North Carolina? Or maybe… Volunteers donate more than 4.6 million hours per year to nonprofit arts organizations in North Carolina?
Well, it’s true. The arts are flourishing in North Carolina. In Rowan County, we're fortunate to share in the prosperity of the arts. We’re home to an arts community that is representative of a much larger city, and we’re proud of our art galleries, music venues, brick murals, live theaters, symphony and more! The support for the arts in our community is out of this world. Through Rowan Arts & Ag, we’re excited to share a snapshot of the type of events that are happening in our arts community year-round!
