June 3 – 12 | Lee St. Theatre Presents: Harvey

Elwood P. Dowd insists on including his friend Harvey in all of his sister Veta’s social gatherings. Trouble is, Harvey is an imaginary six-foot-tall rabbit. Come experience the loveable life and laughable time of Elwood P Dowd and his invisible associate.

 

June 3 – 19 | Piedmont Players Presents: Legally Blonde

From the screen to the stage, see the hit everybody is talking about! Laugh along as you follow the tale of Elle Woods, a rich blonde whose life is turned upside-down as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

 

June 4 | 4th Annual Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour

It’s a beautiful time of year on the farms of Rowan County, and the Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour offers a rare chance to see it all firsthand. In a unique combination of the county’s rich farm heritage and vibrant arts culture, visitors will learn about local farms and find working artists exhibiting their talent.

 

June 4 | Candlelight Orchestra: A Tribute to The Greatest Showman and More!

With over a thousand flickering candles illuminating the performers, Candlelight Orchestra will be paying tribute to the powerful music of The Greatest Showman and more over the course of 60 mesmerizing minutes.

 

June 4 | Pops at the Post

Pops at the Post is a free community event, featuring a performance by the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony, led by Maestro David Hagy. The concert will be held at the Bell Tower Green on the first Saturday of June!

 

June 5 | Salisbury Pride Art Show

Come join the Center for Faith & the Arts for two art shows in one! They are combining 2021 + 2022 shows to exhibit the wonderful works of artists in the community. Center for Faith & the Arts are partnering with Salisbury Pride for this event and hope you will join them in celebrating these incredible artists.

 

June 6 – 27 | Piedmont Players Summer Camps

Piedmont Player's camps are designed to provide a fun and challenging experience for students eager to learn about the theatre! Your children will be able to explore and experience the theatre while learning valuable skills as an artist and actor.

 

June 13 – 30 | Waterworks Summer ArtVentures

Four Fun-Filled Weeks with quality Instruction from community artist and teachers. With twenty-five camps to choose from, there is sure to be the perfect one for you!

 

June 16 – 19 | Lee St. Theatre Presents: The Seussification of Romeo & Juliet

A whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare's tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines -- similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with if he ever had his way with the script.
