Patterson Farm Fall Fun on the Farm: (Weekends September 25 - November 6) Join Patterson Farm for their annual Fall Fun on the Farm events. Admission includes the barnyard, Pawpaw Carl’s playground, corn maize, cow barrel train ride, visiting the pumpkin patch, and many other activities! Hayrides are operating at a reduced capacity and are weather permitting.
Busker's Bash: (October 1) The 8th Annual Busker's Bash will take place in Downtown Salisbury. Busker's will be stationed throughout the Downtown footprint. Vote for your favorite busker and enjoy a night out in Downtown Salisbury.
Autumn Jubilee: (October 2) Autumn Jubilee will be a weekend full of family fun! This year's Autumn Jubilee will be a modified event, but still packed with fun.
Some Enchanted Evening: (October 8-10 & 15-17) Piedmont Players present Some Enchanted Evening at the Meroney Theater in Downtown Salisbury.
Historic Hall House Museum Tours: (Saturdays) Built in 1820 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Dr. Josephus Hall House is available for tours Saturdays from 1 - 4 p.m.
Farmers' Market: (Saturdays) The Salisbury/Rowan County Farmers’ Market happens every Saturday at the Railwalk Pavillion in Downtown Salisbury. The market has a wide variety of products from season produce including pumpkins and squash, to local meat, eggs, flowers, bread, and other baked goods. October Tour: (October 9-10) Historic Salisbury Foundation presents the 46th annual historic homes tour featuring private home from 1820-1950. Scarecrow Stroll at the N.C. Transportation Museum: (October 15-31) Join in the fall festivities at the N.C. Transportation Museum during their Scarecrow Stroll. Local businesses and attractions will be decorating and entering their scarecrows in the Scarecrow Stroll contest. Fall Back in Time in Historic Gold Hill: (October 16) Join the Gold Hill Merchants Association in the Village at Gold Hill to celebrate the arrival of fall. Shop specials, live music, refreshment, marshmallows and more.
Carolina Bohemian Jam: (October 16) This must-see festival is the Carolinas’ celebration to commemorate the era of music that would influence generations to come. Don’t miss the most cosmic event of the year at the Rowan County Fairgrounds.

Gold Hill Ghost Tour: (October 30) The Gold Hill Ghost Tour is a great family fun night with hayrides and ghost stories at five key historic locations in Gold Hill Mines Historic park.
